FERNANDO "JNANDEZ" HABEGGER

I started playing poker in 2006 and from 2006 to 2008 I made most of my money by working as a card dealer in order to familiarize myself with the game and start making money within the industry.

I was also understanding more about the game, about reads and tells, and the strategy behind poker in general.

In 2008 I was playing low-stakes No-Limit Hold ‘Em, and towards 2010 I started playing Pot-Limit Omaha. I didn’t even care that much if I had to deal the cards or play the game myself, I just wanted to be close to the game.

I was studying at university and at the same time playing poker throughout the night. And in January of 2011, I decided to quit my studies and play poker full time. I built a bankroll and never looked back.

Since 2011 I’ve made a profit every single year playing PLO cash games and tournaments. My profits have ranged from $150,000 to around $400,000 a year for playing poker exclusively.

I also won the first prize of $179,000 in a World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) tournament in 2013.

I’ve traveled the world for poker and pleasure and seen pretty much all the major poker stops for cash games. I have coached a lot of poker players, developed high-quality learning programs, and wrote a book about Mastering Small Stakes PLO.

I’m currently a sponsored player for GGPoker’s GGSquad, and the founder and head coach for the PLO Mastermind, a leading Pot-Limit Omaha training program.

I’m very passionate about Pot-Limit Omaha. I love helping people figure out the game, develop themselves, and become successful poker players.
